Changing The Game Through Innovation

Telman was founded by Max Levin during his undergraduate studies at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. He saw a void in how businesses were sourcing supplies, and the excessive capital expenditures it incurred, and wanted to create an intuitive platform that yielded inventory efficiency for operators. With the idea came the start of Telman, a cloud based online wholesale infrastructure that allowed users to purchase inventory on a per unit basis. After a successful launch, and a later sustained value proposition, Telman expanded its core competencies to other industries including Vending & Micro Markets, retail stores and merchants, correction facilities, and entertainment. Today, Telman houses over 10,000 different products of both perishable and non-perishable supplies and services clients across the Tri-State area, from small family independent operators to large flagged franchises.

Our Foundational Blueprint To Success

As a small wholesale business in a highly competitive industry, service and the standards we practice are at the core of our foundational structure. With this, we’ve made sure to have a way for our customers to contact us 24/7. Whether that be by phone or by email, it is important for us to have a channel available to help customers with any and all questions they may have. Today, we have on-site customer representatives answering phones from 5am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Have a problem with your account or order? We are here to help; and our support team is trained to fix any problem that a valued customer has. Outside of these business hours, customers could send our support team an email, and have a response within minutes. Our team is continuously evolving how we help our customers, and finding new ways to prevent problems from occurring. Any company could distribute supplies, and there are many who do; but it’s how we go about it that makes Telman different. Our company was founded on four core values, which are at the foundation of how we operate as an organization.

Core Competencies

Telman is a full-service wholesale distribution company, located in Pennsauken, NJ, and carries cigarettes and tobacco, snacks, grocery, frozen food, food service, cold and hot beverages, general c-store and retail merchandise, equipment, health & beauty care products, and paper and plastic supplies. Telman services convenience stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, retail stores, tobacco shops, gift shops, specialty stores, wholesalers and concessions, vending companies, correction facilities, as well as large chains. We currently provide next day delivery in NJ, PA, NY, and DE.

USDA Compliance

All of our products are in compliance with FDA, US CUSTOMS, USDA regulations. We update all of our policies and procedures to comply with new changes as mandated by the US government. In 2011, Food Safety Modernization Act was passed by Congress. In our continuous commitment to provide food & beverage compliant products, Telman has certifications and procedures in place and is in full compliance with this act. Our Beverage and Food products are stored in a clean, safe, 3rd party audited, stringent pest control, and OSHA certified conditions. Food safety is our priority.
